Rescue Rewind: Class of 2011. Georgia Rescue Mission 2026

The year was 2011. Your playlists were iconic. Our rescue story was just beginning.

Fifteen years later, we’re heading back to Georgia for another lifesaving rescue mission...and bringing a little throwback energy along for the ride.

Our Georgia shelter partners are facing overwhelming intake, limited resources, and urgent pressure to make space. When kennels fill up, dogs can run out of time. Every dog we welcome into rescue gets a chance at a new life while opening space for another animal who needs help.

Your donation helps make that journey possible, supporting transportation from Georgia to New York, veterinary care, supplies, and ongoing care as these dogs settle into foster homes and prepare for adoption.

Help us raise $20,011 in honor of where it all began.

Thanks to our longtime friends at Eva’s Dog Camp, donations will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $10,000. That means your $25 becomes $50, your $50 becomes $100, and your $100 becomes $200 toward lifesaving rescue.

And if this community takes us beyond $20,011? We’re aiming for a $30,000 stretch goal to support these dogs and their care.

Throughout the mission, we’ll share shelter visits, introduce the dogs, and follow their journey toward a fresh start. Expect familiar names, plenty of nostalgia, and new faces you won’t forget.

You can help write their next chapter:

• Donate to put the matching gift to work.
• Foster to give a rescued dog a safe place to land.
• Share this page to bring more people into their corner.

Fifteen years ago, Badass began with people willing to say yes to dogs who needed them. Let’s keep saying yes.

Throwing it back. Moving them forward.
